Online Return Policy

We hope you love everything about your Litemode.ca purchase, but if you need to return some, or any of your items, please have your order number ready, click on the link below, and follow our simple return process:

Can I Return My Online Purchase?

  • Litemode will accept returns on undamaged and resaleable online merchandise within 7 days of the customer receiving the products (as verified by courier tracking information)
  • If you receive merchandise that is:
    • Damaged or defective upon arrival (i.e. missing parts or visibly damaged), please visit the above link within 7 days of receiving the products and follow our simple return process
    • Damaged or defective upon installation (i.e. not functioning once installed), please contact us at info@litemode.ca within 30 days of receiving the products
  • Returns may be subject to a Manufacturer's Restocking Fee ranging from 15% - 40% (fees vary per item, contact us for more info)
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs (must obtain tracking number and submit to Litemode)
  • Online orders cannot be physically returned to our Showroom location as they must be returned (at the customer's expense) to the manufacturer which sent them. After completing the online return process, we will advise if an item may be returned to our showroom in the event that it shipped from our location. Please do not return online purchases to our showroom unless instructed to do so.
  • Litemode recommends that all light fixtures are installed by a licensed electrician
  • Customer is responsible for all installation and re-installation fees

 

Items Not Eligible for Returns:

  • Any item that has been installed (including cut or clipped wires), modified or used in any way
  • Any item that is not in resaleable condition
  • Any item that is not in the original box with sufficient packaging materials
  • Crystal chandeliers
  • Large orders: Orders containing 6 or more of a single item or orders with an invoice total greater than $2,500 (before taxes). When ordering large quantities, we suggest ordering a sample for evaluation
  • Light bulbs, parts, and shades
  • Special purchases, including: clearance items, inventory sale items, etc.
  • Any item not purchased from Litemode’s online store. Returns must have a valid Litemode order number. Showroom purchases can only be returned in store
  • Shipping & handling charges 

 

Showroom Return Policy

The following Return Policy applies to merchandise purchased at our Showroom in Vaughan, Ontario.

 

Can I Return My Showroom Purchase?

  • Litemode will accept returns and exchanges on undamaged and resaleable merchandise within 7 days of purchase (invoice date), when accompanied by a receipt
  • Merchandise that is found to be defective past 7 days, will be dealt with according to the individual manufacturer’s warranty policy
  • Returns may be subject to a Restocking Fee
  • Store credits are non-transferable
  • Litemode recommends that all light fixtures are installed by a licensed electrician
  • Customer is responsible for all installation and re-installation fees

 

Items Not Eligible for Returns:

  • Any item that has been installed (including cut or clipped wires), modified or used in any way
  • Any item that is not in resaleable condition
  • Any item that is not in the original box with sufficient packaging materials
  • Crystal chandeliers
  • Floor models
  • Large scale fixtures
  • Items that are not in stock and special ordered for the customer
  • Red tag clearance items, inventory sale items, and discounted merchandise
